Great system, missing only 4K compatibility

So far the system has been performing great but its missing 4k compatibility I was recently told. I'm not sure how that will affect my day to day use as I own a 4k TV.
Will I not be able to view 4k DVDs or play 4k games? Will the surround or the video quality deteriorate? OR wont I receive any output. I would appreciate if someone can clarify the meaning of not being 4k compatible.

great sound system

i just bought bose soundtouch535 surround sound system . is it compatible with LG OLED TV ? just want know if its not then i'll return it .

I bought this system and the sound quality is great. I would certainly recommend this product. My only question is, does the USB port in the front of the console plays MP3 music if I have a USB stick with music on in other words does it support music beside for system update? If it does not why not?

The USB port on the front of the console will accept a USB drive with video content (like photos) and is also used for updates however there is no audio component that would allow you to listen to your music.

Not supporting Dolby Atmos and DTS X

I purchased this system. Find out that this will not support Dolby Atmos and DTS X. for a high price home theater system it should be supporting these two new surround sound format. It doesn't support 4K pass through. I will return this system and just by the one will support new technology. Why this system will not support Atmos, DTS X and 4k Pass through.

Great Sound System

I love my new SoundTouch 535 System! This system replaced my 15 year old lifestyle 20 with improved sound quality and great pictures via HDMI. Now I can't leave home, but just enjoying the quality surround sound. However, the SoundTouch was difficult to setup, I had to call tech support to be able to set it up. It's on and vibrating through my man cave!

Great voice and beauty feature but no 4K...

I bought 535 in October 2015 for 2016 new house living room preparation and I'm so excited to enjoy this beautiful voice. But I've heard 535 no supporting 4K TV..... I've bought 4K TV for all entertainment. Actually I've disappointed...because 4K is not new story, but bose lack 4K tech make me surprise.

You will not be able to see 4k content through this system. In my opinion, this system does not worth the ticket price.

One thing we wanted to mention is that while the Lifestyle SoundTouch 535 system does not support 4k pass-through, our SoundTouch 520 5.1 system does, so if that feature is absolutely necessary we definitely have an option for you.
