I received my Samsung Galaxy S6 about a month ago, and I absolutely love it! This phone is amazing. I have had great reception everywhere I've gone, and it's very user friendly. I love the fact that I can set my security for my phone to recognize my finger print. I was able to synch it to my tablet, so I can receive emails and messages on either device. And the camera on my Galaxy has excellent resolution. I was able to get excellent shots of the fireworks I was watching on my phone. Samsung, I do believe you've outdone yourselves on this phone. It really is AMAZING!! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!! :D
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, user friendly, figerprint security, camera has incredible resolution in pixels, can be synched to my tablet, screen is just the right size, does everything i need it to do and more
Cons: can't think of any. it's perfect!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ever since I got the new Samsung Galaxy S6 I was amazed with all the details and features it has. Yes, definitely will be glad to tell a friend about this because with a just of a bit of experience I'm already amazed and happy with what I got. It's better than the other phones I got.
I love everything about the phone except the size. I have arthritis in my hands and holding the phone while talking makes my hands hurt. I wish Samsung would make some smaller phones for those of us with smaller hands and arthritis.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Too big
I would recommend this to a friend!

My husband and I purchased this phone 2 weeks ago and we both love it. I never thought I could feel this way about an electronic device but I do. I'm a nurse and my favorite feature is that you can check your pulse as well as the oxygen level in your blood, I was amazed by this! I can not find any thing about this phone that I don't like. i's so much more than a phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Step Up from the S4, but Lacking Some Loved Features

I'm basing my review on comparison to the S4, which I was using prior to the S6 and before that, the S2. Yes, I love my Galaxy phones!
First, the features that are missing, neither phones had a way to turn off the "camera click", which I find annoying. You have to download a third party app to do that, which we shouldn't have to do. Not everyone wants to hear a camera shutter click and what if you're trying to be discrete? Otherwise, the camera itself is phenomenal! It takes beautiful pictures and people can never believe I took them with a cell phone.
They finally added back the direct dial with the last firmware update, thankfully, that was driving me crazy, but the ability to add custom ringtones to your voicemail or text messages is not there, however you can work around that if you know where to place the tones in the directory folders. I liked on the S4 it simply said "add" and you could just pop whatever custom sound you wanted right in there. Easier is better.
What I dislike about the phone is you can't remove the back, replace the battery, or put in an SD card. I therefore purchased the 64GB, just to be safe, because in 2 years, there will be a ton of pictures of that sucker. Plus, while I'm not a huge mobile gamer, I do play a few. I'm one of those people who like to have control over my phone and now when my lease is up, I'll have to make sure I back up all that data, which I do daily anyway via cloud, contacts, etc. which is a bigger pain than just being able to pop out an SD card and stick it in a drawer for safe keeping. Also, the battery in my S2 did go bad, so what if that happens with my S6? You got it, they'll replace it with a refurbished version, even though you would think you deserve a brand new phone.
I love the size, the clarity, stunning graphics, and so on and so forth. Button placement is good, there really wasn't much change there. However, they did change the Swype keyboard and you have to adjust it to fit your fingers, which takes a bit of getting used to and it's still not perfect like it was on the S4. At least not to me.
I was sad they never released the "blue" in the USA, because I was really looking forward to that color, instead we got gold..., really, gold? I bought white. Why does Europe get all the good colors?
The lock screen stays on for about 1 second and that gets frustrating fast. Even with "smart stay" enabled, I find it often turns off before I can swipe. Battery lasts long if you're just texting, surfing the web, but play a game and the battery life drains super quick. The battery life on the S4 was much better. However, it charges super fast, even if you have it plugged in at 5% and are still playing the game with live wallpaper (love my live wallpaper) running in the background. This is good. I state this, because there is nothing like trying to run MapQuest with a car charger that only occasionally works and trying to find your hotel at 11 p.m. at night on a 2% battery and deciding whether you waste the battery looking up the number, assuming you have any data coverage, or call someone and ask them to look up the number and call the hotel for you and hope that you find it w/o MapQuest - this is a true story with my S4. I had someone else call the hotel and tell me how to get there just before the phone died, thank goodness! Yes, I bought a new charger.
Anywho.. data coverage is so-so, depends on where you live and what carrier. I have <not allowed to say>, and where my house is, it's a dead zone, so thankfully I have WiFi and WiFi calling. Otherwise, when i'm out, it's not bad, but I rarely get actual data coverage anywhere in my area, e.g. can't surf the web at random via LTE/3G like my sister can on a track-phone she bought at <not allowed to say>. Go figure, luckily I don't care, because I'm not glued to my phone. However, when you are waiting for an hour in a doctors office and your game requires WiFi or data, it would be nice. Again, I don't know if it's the phone, I think it's the area, but... I could be wrong.
Sound is really good! I enjoy listening to music on my phone and the MILK radio program, I actually shelled out the money to get rid of the ads and DJ's. Only time I've ever bought Samsung software, but they have a hit there!
Placement of speakers top and bottom was genius and not on the back either, actual top and bottom! People can hear you and you can hear them!
I have a good screen protector and cover on mine, but have dropped it several times on hard wood floor, concrete, etc. and nothing. I wouldn't want to drop it w/o those items on it though. My heart still drops into my stomach when it happens though.
I'm sure I could think of more, but I think I summed it up pretty good. Yes, several complaints, but the pro's of this phone outweigh them all and I wouldn't trade the S6 in for any other phone. I can deal with the annoying stuff, but I really wish you could quiet the camera shutter! Next firmware update?
I love love love my new Galaxy S 6. I have only been a smart phone user for the past 2 years and I started with an i phone 4. It was way out of date and I have heard amazing things about the Samsung Galaxy S 6. I have enjoyed every moment of getting used to my new device. One of my favorite features is the voice to text. If you speak clearly it types out exactly what you say without having to type out the text. Also, the camera takes bright, clear, flawless pictures that I am constantly sharing with friends and family via text or social media. If you have never tried an Android and you've always been an i phone user and you want to add some pep to your life, try the Samsung Galaxy S 6!!!!
