Cool features but bad performance

The Samsung galaxy 6 was advertised as a great phone with tons of cool features. While it has theses cool features the phones performance is extremely slow and sometimes the phone will freeze just trying to open the messaging app. Also, even with power saving mode on and only using the messaging app, the phone hardly ever makes it from being unplugged at 10am to plugging in at 9pm
Cons: Did not meet expectations, horrible battery life, extremely slow and glitches
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the S6 the day it came out. It was a great phone, but the longer I have it, the more problems I have. Performance went from awesome to awful. Its slow, frequently freezes, and overheats. If I would have realized this, I would have waited for Note 5 or kept my S5. From my research, I've discovered slow / poor performance is a common complaint. Samsung should have waited and put out the phone when the had all the bugs worked out.
I love this device. It has all of my favorite features but there are 3 features that it lacks. I wish it had edge multiwindow instead of the held recent apps button. The next feature is the replaced menu button with the recnt apps. I had a galaxy s3 before this and loved having the menu button. This device has an on-screen button which is covered up in apps like gdosbox and cant be moved. And third is fingerprint app locking. I would like to lock apps specifically with my fingerprint. Overall this device is fantastic.
I am so enjoying my phone. The edge took a little getting used to but the ease of dialing is a plus. Keep these great phones coming and I'll be loyal for life.
I like the processor speed and the idea of storing everything in memory (no SD). The battery drain seems better to me than on my S4. I like the charging information that's given while charging (time to a full charge). I'm concerned about not being able to replace the battery. What options do I have if the battery goes bad? The one problem I'm having is with the display. It seems that at times, I try to pull down the shortcut menu at the top of the screen and it just ignores my attempts. Anything near the top of the screen is unresponsive to the touch. I had the same problem with my S4. If I wait a few minutes, the problem goes away. May be that the cpu is too busy to accept my request. I am overall satisfied with the S6. I think Samsung did their homework on this one!
