I've had the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge 32GB for nearly 3 years now. Through all that time, I've had an Urban Armor Gear case on it for all that time, and dropped it way too many times to count. The screen only suffered three noticeable scratches on the screen. The software has remained reasonably fast and responsive, some bugs and a little bit of lag here and there after about 2 years, but it's rare and manageable. If you're looking this far back in Samsung's flagship catalog, then you can stop right here. This is the best smartphone I've ever owned, it's done everything I've ever needed it too, it's done so with close to zero problem. Samsung earned a lifetime employee with this phone, Now that I'm looking for an upgrade, I'm planning on buying the new Samsung Galaxy S9+, possibly at 64GB, the Gear S3 Frontier, and the Gear IconX 2018. I honestly can't wait to see what Samsung comes out with next, but I'll definitely be there to see it. 10/10, no complaints.
Good features and mostly a dependable product with some issues

The S6 is a generally a good product, but I have noticed a large decrease in battery life, and the phone design does not allow changing the battery to try to boost performance. The phone also has issues staying connected to wi-fi networks and continuously has "authentication error occurred" messages appear on the wi-fi screen. None of the usual fixes, such as clearing the cache or disabling broadband steering have been able to correct this problem. I had been able to previously correct this on a different s6, but now am unable to re-find the correct fix. Another issue is the GPS seems to have a problem figuring out what direction the phone is facing which can cause problems in GPS driven games and during navigation because it thinks it is spinning or off by a hundred or so yards, with high accuracy on and gps calibrated. The Bluetooth volume for audio outside of phone calls is also very low and cannot be boosted. Otherwise the phone is a fast and reliable product.
While the Samsung device itself was terrific, the implementation by Sprint was pathetic. My S6 which was received from the Sprint store was built/customized so that it would essentially only work on a Sprint network. When I had the phone unlocked, both AT&T and Verizon told me that this device was unable to connect to their network. I spent considerable time attempting to connect that device with their sim cards at their stores.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: sprint 6 can't connect to at&t or verizon networks

I got a rand new galaxy 6 end of December and End of March battery will not stay charged. Apparently warranty expired 2 years ago. How does the warranty expire of a phone you buy brand new from the carrier and it expire before you even purchase the phone. Never ever again will I buy a galaxy 6s, guess I’ll have to switch carriers and get a new phone
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The phone itself is ok. I'm really disappointed with the fact you can't get to the battery or use additional storage. My battery dies overnight with no use at all. I only got this phone so it'd be compatible with the Fitbit app. That part works, but I overall regret the purchase.
Pros: Lightweight, Built-in speakers
Cons: no access to battery, no extra storage option
