When I bought it, I loved it right away! The non-stick dish was wonderful and worked very well. After 3 years, all the coating was torn off. Everything sticks in now. I have never put it in the dishwasher and I have always used silicone utensils. I am very disappointed with the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a month ago and like it very much. Much lighter then my old Crock Pot and the lid fits nicely on this one. Being able to sauté my onions or brown my meats on the stove top first is quite practical and works great!!!

I ordered my Stove-Safe Crock-Pot online and when I picked it up at the post office the staff said "oh you're the lucky one!". Yes I am! This is the perfect solution for getting that browning and flavour without the dishes. At the end of cooking meat I remove it and finish thickening the sauce on the stove in the insert. Absolutely love it!

I bought this pot a month ago and it has been such a help for me. I have a disability and being able to prepare meals early in the day with help from a care giver enables me to have a wonderful hot meal in the evening.
Because of the larger size i have enough for a couple of days.
The ability to brown the meat and onions on the stove top makes my dinners taste so much better.

Purchased 1 month ago; has been used 4 times already. Great to be able to brown meat and Carmelize onions on the stove, retaining the juices for when the other ingredients are added. Then, set the cooker, not just LOW or HIGH, but set the cooking time (by half hour increments) in accordance with your recipe ... going to WARM at the end. This is worry free slow cooking!

I recently purchased this crockpot because my crockpot of 20 plus years broke. The updated stainless steel design means it looks great in my modern kitchen. More importantly, the reason I chose this one over others is because of the browning feature. I made my usual pot roast recipe this week and could not believe the difference in the flavour. The browning of the meat really added a lot of depth and more intensity to the flavour. The fact that the crockpot automatically switches to warming after the cooking time is complete is a definite step up from older crockpots. One wish I have is that this model also had a lock down lid like one of your other models. In fact, I think all models should have that option. The browning was the most important feature to me, which is why I chose this one. I am very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it to others.
