I love this crock pot. It is so light weight and being able to cook the meat in this pot - on the stove - then drop into the slow cooker makes it so easy.

One stop ceramic insert cracked

I bought this crockpot about 6months ago and it said the pot was stovetop safe. But the first time I tried to sear my meat before slow cooking it the pot cracked in half.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this for my 90 year old aunt. She still enjoys cooking and really loves the convenience of the stove top feature. She used a crock pot a lot and being able to go from stove top to crock pot is excellent, she says. This way, she looses none of the effects of browning all in one pot.

I used this crock pot for the first time on New Year's Day. I thought the "keep warm" feature was too hot. It continued to boil around the edges when it went from "low" to "keep warm" I have not tried the on the stove top yet. Looking forward to that.

Great Feature but died too soon

I bought my Crockpot about 5 years ago and it literally died on me in the middle of cooking a meal. I guess all good things come to an end. I will repurchase because of the convenience and the great customer service. I only gave it 4 stars because I know people who have had theirs over 10 years and mine only lasted about 5.

I've had this crock pot for a year and I love it. The only problem I have is the coating on the inside is coming off. Sadly I now have to replace this but otherwise it's great.

I have used this several times, clean up so easy, I needed a new crock pot and I chose this particular one because of being able to use it on the stove top. My only small problem is not being able to use metal spoons and needs to be more dishwasher safe!!! Cooks wonderful
