Not worth the extra money paid for this

I did pay more for this model because it seemed to have quality and features I look for. I will say, it looks nice, and the size was great. I was very pleased with the way it cooked the dish I made.
The handles look like the "keep cool handles" I have on my pots and pans, but found they did get hot!
The first time I used it I placed it on my smooth range top because I was worried about the counter top. The bottom did not get hot and it would be safe to use on the counter.
Near the end of cook time I needed to move it off the stove in order to use the burners. That is when I found the handles got HOT. When I tried to move it, the entire unit tipped to the back left side! Luckily no hot liquids spilled on me.
After the cooking was complete and the unit was cool, I looked at the bottom and found there are only 3 support legs, not 4. This is a rather large cooker to not have 4 legs for support, no wonder it had a tendency to tip.
Maybe I should have took it as a warning when I took it out of the box and found the "Crock-Pot" label on the digital panel was upside down.
I did return this crock pot, and purchased another "Crock-Pot" but made sure it had 4 support legs.
Pros: good size nice appearance.
Cons: only e support legs on the bottom. not stable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the way the slow cooker looked, the digital countdown was also great to determine how long you've had the food in there. There was also the High and Low settings and overall it was easy to operate.
The only thing I wasn't quite happy with was the fact that you can't lock the lid like my last one, also you can't add anymore time until the current time expires.
It does have an alarm that goes off when it's done, which is a plus as well.
This item was sent to me to test and review.

COOKS TOO FAST AND TOO HOT!

My old Crock Pot cooked food perfectly. I've used this one twice and both times disappointed. First try - cooked boneless chicken breasts on high for 4 hours only to find them in boiling liquid and dried out. Second try - cooked a pork roast on low setting but after 3 hours the liquid was practically dried out and so was my roast. I can not confidently leave his unattended while at work. as of this moment, I'm returning it and going back to my old one.

This crock pot is scary to leave home alone, that's not the purpose of a crockpot... We've used it several times, and now we cook everything on warm and still come home to over cooked, rapid boiling food. We love our place too much to burn it down.

Hard to find a cooktop pot. My previous insert was metal coated, they don't make them any more.

Not your standard Crock-Pot - Avoid

The pot is not the standard ceramic pot but instead has a sprayed on surface which of course rubs off when cooking and cleaning. It is not safe and should be avoided.

Bought this Crock Pot 2 weeks ago, have had others like it. Programmable sort of. You can select temp, and amount of hours to cook before it automatically goes to Warm. You can NOT fully program it to start at a certain time, then stop. it's either HI OR LOW Temp and how long you want it to Cook. In 30 minute incrimments. If you need 6 hours 15 minutes cook time - No can do, you decide stop sooner or cook longer.
Another SURPRISE was the fact it has 3 legs!!!
WOW! Really Crock-Pot? You couldn't stabilize a HOT APPLIANCE better by ADDING one more leg!! Sheesh. MUST be careful when moving because of the 3 legs it tends to tip to the left or right. NOT a good design! Every Crock Pot I've ever owned had 4 LEGS!!
