Wonderful Product!

I was extremely pleased with the lightweight of the Crockpot! To be able to brown meat and cook in one pot was so easy! The Crockpot easily cleaned up! The use and ease of the digital timer made cooking easier! I highly recommend this product!

I use this crockpot at least once a week. It cooks beautifully and does everything it's advertised to do!
Pros: incredibly easy to clean., much lighter than other crockpots.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For awhile I had been wanting a crock-pot and finally received one for Christmas. I was so happy that I used it the very next day and must say that the food came out great and the family really enjoyed it. Unfortunately that was the first and only time I was able to use it. I went to use it again and thankfully I was home as I heard popping coming from the kitchen it was the pot cracking. It cracked from the bottom all the way to the top. I must say I'm extremely disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this Crock Pot in December 2016. I love the pot itself, no complaints with the way it cooks or it's function. But, they really went to the stingy side with the cord. It's too short and because of that it restricts where you can use the pot. To make matters worse, the cord is very stiff! Not happy with that part and I would probably not buy it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've used this crockpot several times already and love it! It cleans up super easy and I love that it automatically switches to warm mode when the cooking time is done.
Pros: large enough for a small roast chicken, super easy cleanup, auto switches to warm
Cons: wish the cord was a few inches longer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is durable, lightweight, and easy to clean. I was pleasantly surprised how great this product doubled as a stove top pan in addition to it's traditional use as a crock pot. The stove top pan is very lightweight, making cleaning much easier than with traditional ceramic crocks. The stainless exterior of the crock pot is designed nicely and allows for programming, which is great for busy parents wanting to still make a home cooked meal. The value is great for the dual purpose insert of the crock. I have used my crock pot both in the traditional manner and on the stove top for cooking soup, and both uses were great. I'm very happy with this product from Crock-Pot!

Cooks too hot.

I bought this Crockpot last January, but didn't use it until yesterday for Christmas dinner. I was making Sauerbraten and was happy to be able to brown the meat without using another pot. But it cooks too hot! My beef came out dry, which it never has using a stoneware Crockpot. There was plenty of liquid so that wasn't it. If I continue to use it I will have to adjust the cooking time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

All of our current slow cookers do cook at higher temperature settings than our old ones. The Keep Warm setting is approximately 165 – 170 degrees F. Both the Low & High settings cook at 215 degrees F., but they cycle differently. Therefore, the High setting will still cook the food in a shorter period of time than the Low setting will. Please remember that these are all approximate temperatures and they can vary depending on what you are cooking. It can also boil on High and Low. We do recommend that you always fill your slow cooker at least 1/2 - 3/4 of the way full with liquid or sauce, and you may also have to adjust your cook times accordingly. This will prevent the food from drying out and burning.
If you feel that your Crock-Pot is cooking at too high of a temperature, I have a test that you can try:
Fill your Crock-Pot about 2/3 full with water, and turn it on high for four hours. After four hours on high, test the temperature with a candy thermometer (or any other thermometer that goes up to around 250 degrees F.). The temperature should be within the 215 degrees F. range, give or take several degrees.
