A little pricey but great product nonetheless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first the fact that there wasn't a start button threw me off but I figured out that once I selected the levels the machine would start . Also this product was overpriced for me personally but it was still a very great product that cooked my food thoroughly and overall I was very pleased with it's performance! It is a wonderful machine and I do recommend it to others if they don't mind spending a little extra on a higher end Crock Pot.
Pros: does what it's supposed to, very well designed
Cons: a little pricey

Got this few weeks ago as a gift and I never owned a slow cooker but this small appliance changed my total view on cooking, cooked thrice in this and I really liked this product. First time cooked baby back ribs in barbecue sauce. Cooked on slow for 8 hours. Came up with restaurant quality ribs. Food was really soft and was able to clean the pot in less than 2 mins, no sticking tough mess.
Second time cooked a rotisserie chicken, with some veggies added latter, I never had chicken cooked that through and so soft. The legs fell of while trying to take it out of the pan. It was juicy and tasty. Again cleaning took 2 minutes.
Third time cooked indian mutton Briyani, took four hours of cooking but got and excellent restaurant quality food.
Has 3 modes of cooking high, low and warm which are self explanatory. Only con I would say is the inability to auto start so that I can have lunch. I always had slow cooked food for dinner since it takes anywhere between 3-8 hours, but the time spent is really worth the taste of food. Timer increments by 30 mins.
For my mutton Briyani, used the pot directly on top of the stove and prepared the masala and then dropped it into the container. Again easy 2 mins cleaning.
Highly recommend everyone to own this appliance!!!! As a disclaimer, got this product as a gift, but really worth to own it!!!!
Pros: easy cleaning, taste of food, pot can be used on a stove directly
Cons: no self start timer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a crockpot that wasn't too large and wasn't too expensive. This product fit the bill. This unit is well designed, maintains a constant temp, and is easy to clean. Size is good for my family, we've made roasts, soups, dressing, etc. for groups from 4-10 so far. This is an Excellent crockpot. It's easy to operate. I'm a big fan of the digital display that tells you the remaining cook time. The lid is treated glass so, you can see the food cooking without lifting the lid. The lid handle stays cool during the cooking, so you won't burn your fingers if you touch it. The ceramic cooker is sturdy and a little heavy. It can become slippery when wet, so be careful while washing it in the sink. The cooker can accommodate a 3.5-4 pound whole chicken and 4 pound roasts. It's oval shape enables these foods to fit well. It comes with a small instruction manual that includes some recipes. No matter the recipe or the occasion, this Crock-Pot Slow Cooker keeps the temperature steady so your food is cooked to perfection, full of flavor and delicious. Clean up is easy, the removable oval stoneware slides right out of the base for easy transport to the table or storage in the fridge. And both the stoneware and lid are dishwasher-safe. I received this Crock-Pot as a sample to review and I must say overall this is a great product! I love it!

I loved that I was able to brown the meat in the crock pot liner on the stove before making the stew in slow cooker mode. The stew was great.

I have been wanting a slow cooker with a metal stove friendly insert and Crockpot has finally made one. I had been looking at others that were out of my reach dollar wise. I have been searching all brands for over 2 years and I can say that this crockpot lives up to all of my needs and I'm very happy that I bought it. I can brown on the stove top and drop in the insert without using additional pans on the stove. Also, clean up is a breeze with the non stick finish. I now have only one item to wash which saves time and money.

Or first pot had warped stoneware, which customer service replaced in 4 days. The stoneware cleans up without something stuck to the inside, I like the clear lid , and controls are ease to use.
Pros: room and ease of use
