I DO NOT recommend this dryer! The dryer is making a loud squeaking noise and has since day one! The steam feat has never worked and it seems to take extra time to dry things.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dryer worked pretty well for 5 years (the dry sensor thought things were dry when they were still pretty damp). Then it died. Repairman said our control board was fried. New part through GE was significantly higher than the cost of the dryer itself, before tax and installation. GE fail. Just had it hauled off and replaced with an American made (rhymes with Hay Bag). I don’t believe I will be buying GE products going forward.
