We bought this washer after MUCH research done online and also going out looking. We had a Home Warranty (AHS) & because our Samsung was 10 years old, the part needed for our non-working washer could not be obtained. AHS said "we will replace your washer"! We did pay an Upgrade fee of $209 to get this one. We had previously had a front loader and did not want another. This washer had all the features I wanted such as Speedwash, Extra rinse & Soak. So far (2 weeks in) it is SUPER quiet..which we LOVE. I love everything about it except ONE feature. IF you want to add Fabric softener you MUST press the DEEP RINSE option or your fabric softener will NOT go anywhere. This option adds about 9 minutes to your cycle. Outside of that, I really like how the clothing and towels and bedding wash up. Very well spun so they dry quick!

Great Capacity

I was without a washer that for three months before I got this GE as a replacement. Decided this time to go with a "Made in America" product and so far I am morel than satisfied. The capacity is extraordinary, and it balances the smallest and the largest loads with ease. Thank you.

Although I do like the large capacity and do not miss the agitator, I have had GE service techs out twice already -- and only had the washer installed in May of this year! This does not bode well for the future of the machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

HUGE BUT NOT GREATEST CLEAN

I LOVE THE SIZE AND THE FACT THAT I CAN WASH ALMOST A WEEKS WORTH OR CLOTHES OR MULTIPLE SHEETS AND TOWELS OR COMFORTERS TOGETHER AND GET IT DONE QUICKLY. DOWN SIZE IS THE LARGER LOADS DONT GET AS CLEAN AS I FIND WITH MOST MACHINES WITH NO AGITATOR. I AM STILL HAPPY I BOUGHT IT BECAUSE I CAN ALWAYS DO SMALLER LOADS BUT WHEN I NEEDS TO I CAN DO HUGE LOADS AND THE TIME SAVING IS GREAT FOR ME
