Very happy with the performance of the cycles I have used so far. Control panel is easy to follow - nice to know "time remaining of cycle", etc. Light in tub (beginning & end of cycle) is surprisingly a nice feature since tub is deep. Good work GE!

Absolutely the worst washer I have ever owned.

This washer is awful. It puts streaks of lint on all of my dark clothes. I have had two certified GE repairmen here to fix it. Before you even think it, I wash only dark darks, med. darks, etc. together. I always sort my clothes according to color. I have been given many suggestions as to what I could do do stop this problem, from using a small amount of HE detergent to folding clothes into balls to using the one cycle that uses more water. Nothing works! I have never minded doing laundry (good thing -- I have three working men in my house), and now I dread it. It's awful to take things out of the washer after the cycle and have to take them to the laundromat to get them clean. Please do not buy this washer, unless, of course, you like lots of lint streaks on your clean clothes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a month again and I really like the features. It has many useful cycles and a light inside the drum. The clear door allows me to see what is going on inside of the washer.
