Nice looking but plastic parts

I really love the use of this cooktop. It looks nice, cooks well and cleans easily. I was very happy with this product. The problem I have is with the knobs. After less than 2 years all 5 of the knobs have cracked and only 2 are usable. The underneath part of the knobs are made from plastic and have cracked so that turning the gas burners on is not possible. The warrantee is only good for 1 year and replacement knobs are expensive. I don't want to buy new ones every year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful Cooktop!

After having been subjected to inferior cooktops for 30+ years, this one is a godsend! My wife does the lions share of the cooking and is just amazed at how much easier it is to cook a large meal with the five burner system. The griddle is a nice extra and makes wonderful bacon and sausage! I would definitely recommed this product to anyone wanting to upgrade their cooktop! Oh, did I mention that the buttons light up with cool blue LED's? Awesome!

Very hard to clean. Avoid!

It Looks good, but LG stainless steel is impossible to clean. Professional stainless steel cleaners will not work on LG stainless steel. They leave streaks and have to be buffed out later. Soap and water is a two or three step process.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

best cooktop ever!

We love the speed of this cooktop. Water heats so quickly. The knobs are easily accessible and allow the gas to light easily. Having 5 burners gives options for cooking many dishes at the same time. The griddle feature is used almost daily for quick meals.

A bit disappointed for the following reasons: arrived with broken grate; thin stainless steel; lightweight grate’s and skillet. The cooktop works fine, but for the price, I would not purchase this product again.
