Works well. Once you get the top burr piece to fit into place, which can be a bit of a pain as you feel it's going to break. After that though it grinds very even. I dont have an espresso machine (yet) but I grind on medium and I can't see any reason why the finest setting would have any issue achieving that.

Does what I needed it to do

My demands for a coffee grinder are fairly basic - fine grind for my morning espresso and a coarse ground for a cold brew, mid-morning. This grinder does both. When my old grinder died, I was able to replace it with this one quickly. No complaints

Really like how easy it is to use - no need to read any instructions. The design is elegant and easy to clean. Our coffee now tastes 5 times better because we finally use a proper burr grinder!

No real controls

As many of the other reviews state, their really isn't much in the way of control of the Grinds. Even on the Coarse setting, it grinds it down to dust. Tried adjust the two nobs... and I started at a Medium setting for Griding, from Medium to Coarse their is no real difference in the grounds. For its Price compared to the others, it is not bad... at its default purpose ... grinding coffee. Its quick, does not take time. and not expensive. But I probably won't use this for Cold Brew which recoemneds coarse grounds.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect grind

The grinds are perfect - fine and even for an espresso and medium coarseness for drip. Great to be able to adjust grinding levels and amount ground at any given time. Really pleased with this purchase. Small and it sits nicely next to the coffee maker.

Too messy

The first one only worked a week then had to be replaced. If the lid is not on right the sensor or whatever it is will not allow power. No matter how often I clean it, at least 3 times a week the power won’t work until I jiggle the lid, remove the burr, totally dump everything out, and then some how it eventually works. Soooo ANNOYING. It is also extremely MESSY. Grounds get everywhere when I remove the lid to access the grounds. Hate this machine, if I hadn’t spent 90 bucks I’d throw it in the trash or against the wall or onto the driveway and smash it with a sledgehammer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
