Disappointed, worked once and now the regulator will not adjust the flame, Only a 90 day warranty which does work if you purchase in the winter and use it in the summer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

lightweight and great for camping

We have had a Char-Broil portable gas grill for 9 years. It's simple to use and very easy to carry. I have looked at other grills that have more bells and whistles on them but they are heavy. We love this grill!
I would recommend this to a friend!

It''s ok for what it is. This is my 3rd one. The heat distribution/reflector plate rusts out in about 5 years. I keep buying this model because it is small and cheap. It fits neatly into my trailer's storage locker. It would store better without the top handle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quick & Easy

I purchased this today, assembled in 15 minutes and got the grill lit another few minutes later. Its a solid little grill.
The only weak point to the grill is the neck which connects to the valve for the propane tank, its cheap metal, it'll bed or lose its shape over time and the problem with that is the valve fits in and uses a dimple in the metal to hold itself in place, when that loses shape it could start a fire. A better or higher quality metal was needed there, or a better locking mechanism for the valve.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thought it was going to blow up..

I saw all the reviews and thought screw it I can deal with the low flame issues since it's only burgers or dogs ill put on it.
Finally got it and used it for the first time. Couldn't even make it through the preheat treatment before the burner was glowing like a glowstick and the flames were sputtering up into the return valve. I turned it off took the tank off and tossed it into the garage. Won't ever be using it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I used these older-style grills for many years and loved them. I bought a new one that no longer uses rocks, but has a plate for which drippings smoke off terribly, and the gas regulator doesn't work. Char-Broil customer service was less than helpful. They said they were sending a new gas regulator, and after two-weeks they claimed they sent me an email asking for the receipt, but by the day after, they canceled my request. Not to mention my email was not provided for ads, but for the purpose of the relacement part. The only email I received June 16, was an ad from them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
