Not really a compliant null modem cable. CD (pin 1) is wired straight through rather than being tied back to pin 6 (DSR). Does not work with file transfer programs that require handshaking. May work for some but total waste for me. Neither Amazon nor Startech provides any wiring diagrams (that I could readily find), had to manually buzz out.

We apologize that our SCNM9FF was not suitable for your specific setup. While there are a number of pinouts that can be used for null-modem cables, this cable crosses pins 2-3, 4-6, and 7-8.
