Purchased 5 of these units as backups for closest on generator feeds. The main purpose is to keep our servers and switches running until generator power is established. (1-3min large diesel generator) I had one unit go bad due to the fan getting clogged with dust. When the unit detects that the fan speed is lower than a preset threshold the unit shut down so it doesn't over heat. Support stepped me through and replaced my unit due to this fan issue. Either than that, we are on our third year on these and they are working great. We have had multiple power outages(Penelec) to test the units and maintained all servers and switches during the outages without any issues.

I am replacing many UPSs and found the pricing to be very good compared to the other companies. They have only been installed for about 3 weeks. Other Tripp Lite products I have used in the past have functioned great.

We use this product in some of our critical wiring closets. Very easy to install compared to other brands and have not had a failure as of yet of any of these units that we have installed. Had several storms that knocked out power in the building for short periods of time but these units kept the wiring closet up and running.

Great for IDF closets!

We used to use a variety of UPS models by a competitor. About 3 years ago I switched to these 1500 series TrippLite UPS's. They have been a prfect fit for our IDF closets that are running anywhere from 3-7 Cisco or Juniper access layer switches. It definitely helps from the brownouts that our building can endure throughout the years. They units clean the power and have been running superbly ever since start up. A great addition is the alerting that will tell you that the UPS does a self test or will go onto battery power. Works great!
