Excellent Washer

With two teenagers in the house I rarely use the dishwasher unless I cook a big meal. So far it has performed well. Once I had too many items in the silverware holder and the door did not open. I did not think this would happen on this model since the door does not flip out it opens and slides up; however, I found a way to stop it from opening.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is by far the worst dishwasher ever!

I have had a Whirlpool (15 yrs), and it was old so thought replace with a newer and better WRONG! (About 2yrs) If you want your dishes to take about 3 hours or longer to wash or hand wash and use the "light" cycle, use recommended dishwasher tab and not drop the tab from the dispenser and replace the gasket so you don't have a wet wood floor, by all means by this one! Model #GDF520PGD2BB !

Builder grade. Cheap. Silverware tray is not user friendly and doesn't hold enough. Very Noisy, tablets don't dispense well.

So so...

We closed on a brand new house in December 2017. This dishwasher leaves dishes wet and doesn’t dissolve the entire soap pack during the wash cycle. The packs we’re using are the samples we received with dishwasher. We use jet dry as well and still have the same result.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a quiet dishwasher. It does a good job, I'm not sure I like the dark interior, as it is harder to see items that have fallen through the rack

The configuration inside for placing dishes is not well thought out. Good height for bigger pots and pans, but hard to balance glasses and smaller items. To get a decent clean, it must be on the heavy setting at all times which takes about 2 hours. Ridiculous! Noise level is not bad.

Very quiet

We have an open floor plan and this dishwasher does not create any noise problems for us. There are 2 places for the silverware caddy but it is rather small, compared to other dishwashers I have had.
