Runs too long, 3 hours

This came with the new house, I don't see how it is energy efficient when it runs for 3 hours.

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your new dishwasher. It is normal for newer dishwashers to run for a longer period of time. Although they run longer, they use less water and energy; higher efficiency pumps and motors help to reduce energy usage. Your model is energy star qualified and offers some really nice features. Not so great.

This dishwasher was installed by our builder as an "upgraded appliance". We have only been living in the house for 3 months. Dishwasher door leaks water onto our hardwoods, does not get the dishes/glasses clean (and we rinse them first in the sink) and they are never dry or even close to it. I have tried all the settings and different brand detergents. We have already been shopping to replace it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This model does not clean well. I have to run things through 2 loads to get the glasses clean. And the dryer function does not work. Water sits in the dishwasher until it's opened in order to air dry. Don't waste your money!

It does the job

The DW was installed in the new model home, so we didn't have a choice on features and amenities. However, it has worked fine and cleans the dishes. Our one complaint is the placement of the silverware basket next to the door. That position seems to block the lower rotating spray arm from completely washing the liquid soap off the door when the soap flap opens.
