Rusty racks...

As others have pointed out in their ratings, our racks (especially the lower rack) have severely rusted and caused prongs to crack and break off. Otherwise, the dishwasher works well and has held up to daily washings for about three years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stop working on his own lights on continuous blink

Rusty Racks

The washing dishes clean is good; however, the top and bottom racks rust within a year. They are still operable but keep deteriorating and staining dishes. I had to replace the bottom one after maybe 2 years of use and now, 5 years since purchased new, after procrastinating forever the top has to go as well. I wish I could post a picture but don’t see that option.

Dishwasher that tries

Actually I give this dishwasher a 3 and one half, it cleans ok, sometimes the soap doesn't get dissolved so you have to run the cycle over again. now it leaks or wont drain. Service request has been put in with homebuilder for warranty work.

Drain pump motor

The drain pump motor is not sturdy and the plastic fins in the motor fell off having to replace.

Ehhh…. Heating element quit working
on August 27, 2024

Bought our new build home in August 2016 which included this dishwasher. It runs forever and seems like it does okay washing the dishes, however, the heating element quit working about 1 1/2 years ago and so the dishes have to be dried at the end of the cycle. We are currently shopping for a new washer and will not go with GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
