We purchased a 4 year old house that came with this dishwasher. Been in the house 3 mo now, and dishwasher flat out quit. Have home warranty, so called and made claim. Appliance repair tech came out, found control pannel, interface panel & power cord all fried and melted! Would love to set this out at the curb, or better yet, let one of the engineeres that designed this put it in their house to melt down and may be cause a fire. Not good! Not what I would expect from a GE Appliance! Totally dissappointed! Now we get for repair parts to come in, so it can be tested to see if we will have this fixed or replaced. Im pulling for a replacement!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Decent base model unit. Attractive front and control board. Unit cleans decently but does not dry thoroughly. A start delay feature would be nice.

hat does it mean when the motherboard status light blink 7 timespaused then do it again. the front pannel stays lit and then the lock indicator stays on after a reset. once any button is pressed everything turns off and stays that way.

AWFUL!

Builder installed Dishwasher. Worst piece of junk I’ve ever seen. Have to run water until it gets HOT and even then 1/2 of he time the soap doesn’t completely dissolve (using high efficiency tablets) & dishes have NEVER come out feeling clean.
