Poor Quality

The positives of this dishwasher is that it runs quietly and it did a good job with cleaning and drying dishes. However, I have only had the dishwasher for 2 1/2 years and it has broken down three times. It was difficult to get the parts for service in a timely matter. In addition, the wrong parts were sent and I had to wait a month. One of the parts is still on backorder. I haven't had a running dishwasher now for seven months. Thus, I will be buying another dishwasher and a different brand.

This model of GE is not up to expectations,it makes lots of noise and feels it takes for ever to wash.very disappointed.

We are sorry to hear you are not pleased with the sound level or the length of the wash cycles and apologize for your disappointment and any inconvenience this may cause you. In order to meet federal energy guidelines, newer model dishwashers use substantially less water than they have in the past. As a result, the cycle times are longer to ensure the washing performance is what you would expect. You do have some control over how long the cycle will take based on the wash cycle you select and any additional cycle options you choose. Leaks and not repairable

The builder put this model in our home that we had built in 2018. It has been leaking since. We thought that is was a hose from under the sink, however it is the dishwasher. We have had to replace the floor, and the last service tech that came out stated that we would have to replace the dishwasher as it it not repairable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Soap dispenser and rinse aid dispenser malfunctions peoriodly leaving dishes in need of re-cleaning. (Very Frustrating)

Also, if your unit is less than a year old you are covered under the warranty for a free service trip. As long as you provide proof of purchase, a certified GE Appliances technician will come look at your unit with no charge to you.

My brand new home came with all GE appliances. Microwave failed in 2 years, Dryer in 3 years and now my Dishwasher doesn't work

Works ok but have had issues with few years usage

I have had this dishwasher for more than 4 years. It recently had issues with its heating element. After getting the heating element replaced, it works fine. However over the last year I have seen the racks rust and parts of it break off. I am not sure if I need to replace the racks as well.

Waste of Money and Time

Low quality put in the house by builder. Trips the breaker every time we use it. has to go to the breaker panel and turn back on. No one but GE can exclusively work on this. repairs are more that it worth. Will go buy a Maytag product.
