It's a good dishwasher and it's quiet. A couple of times I have had to put a few bowls or dishes and sometimes silverware back in to be rewashed because it didn't clean well. Other than that, it's been fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks great in our recently remodeled kitchen. I love the silverware basket. For just 2 people it does take a while to get it full! I like the location of the controls also.

Clean Dishes & Quiet Operation

The GE GDT590SGJWW dishwasher is doing a great job for us. We replaced a 13 year old GE with this new GE and are amazed at the differences.
Much cleaner dishes, much quieter operation.
We are still getting used to the different layout of the racks. Probably a learning curve, but glasses and plates do not fit the same way as we were accustomed to.
A very minor issues, but buyers might want to consider a model with the interior lights.
I would recommend this to a friend!
