Gamers Beware

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the TV overall. Image quality is excellent and the speakers were a vast improvement over my previous LG. Sadly, this TV is suffering from burn-in from a game that I only play for 3-4 hours through the week, while playing within the game mode setting. There's no pixel calibration for this model so... Looks like I'm stuck with this burn-in effect whenever it's a predominantly blue or green screen pictured. Sigh.
I would still buy this product again just not for gaming. Strictly movies. Also, I'm stationed overseas with the TV. So there's no effective way of getting it fixed until I return to the US. Good times! I am trying to use a product to reduce the burn-in. Ie the picture below.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this 55LGOLED for 9 mos. now and it is beyond perfection. I improved it a bit with ISF color and grayscale calibration, i challenge any screen to be better.

UHD on VUDU

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic TV, my first OLED, UHD, 3D, HDR,etc. Would have given 5 stars if the VUDU app or the TVOS would support UHD VUDU. Software needs updating, PLEASE, ASAP !!!

Good until it stopped working

purchased in Jan 2016, ran well for most of the year, then it started getting the vertical lines, PC Richard was my extended warrantor, so they came out order parts replaced and it was good again for a little while. Then it started having problems where it would turn on but there was no display. Again service came out and replace the screen. It again worked for a short period of time and then had lines on it and then no display. The came out for service again and replace more of the same parts. It again worked for even shorted time period and then no display. Finally they came with a part, but it wasn't even OLED part(screen) it was LCD.
So I called and complained and they then deemed the unit unfixable and gave me store credit.
So on to finding another TV, not so sure I want to travel the road again with LG... still on the fence...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a Pioneer Kuro 4080HD with this TV and couldn't be HAPPIER! This is by far the best picture I have ever seen on a TV! The contrast between dark and light is amazing! The remote is solid and their sync software works flawlessly with my home theater. Even the stand and wall mount are perfectly designed! So far I have about 1,000hrs on the set and things are looking great! Buy it, you won't be disappointed!
