Great fridge and freezer!

We love this fridge and freezer. We were debating between this one and a more "traditional" Samsung fridge that had the large "bucket" style bottom freezer. We have a LOT of frozen foods (vegetarian burgers, meals, bread, veggies, etc.) and this freezer is WAY better in terms of organization and space. The other "bucket" style freezer just becomes a dumping pit, and we didn't want that.
Yes, there is a divider between the two lower sections, but each side is so large that it doesn't matter. The 12.2 cu feet of freezer space is not only larger, but way more useable than the 7.7 of the other unit we were looking at.
The fridge portion is huge and functional - we were able to put 2 sheet cakes on a single shelf (aligned front to back) and the rest of the fridge wasn't overly crowded. It has less on-the-door storage than we are used to, but I think it's just a matter of getting used to it. The sliding and flip-up shelves to allow for tall items are great.
The design is great - modern and sleek. The stainless appears to be a "sealed" stainless that does not attract fingerprints. The front interface panel is nice - the temperature readouts are great. Water and ice work well.
A potential downside it that overall it is very large and will not fit into a lot of existing cabinets. In our kitchen it just fit left to right, but we had to move up the cabinet above the fridge up about 3 inches. We added some trim to the top of the other cabinets so the heights all match, and it now looks good. It does come into the room a bit more too, but since there are no handles protruding it isn't so bad.
Of course it's very expensive, but we figured that a few years down the road we wouldn't care (as much) how much it cost, but rather what would matter is whether or not we are happy with it. So far the answer is yes!
Pros: organized freezer, lots of space
Cons: pricey, large

4-Door Comfort Zone

Purchased this refirgerator last month and wow !
Looked at it on display at Home Depot and my wife and I had TO HAVE IT!
Roomy and optional door can be a freezer or a refrigerator!
We have been looking for a refrigerator and purchased this one because it is not the cookie cutter refrigerator and samsung quality.

Calling for service and the ice maker could be better

Had the refrigerator for about 10mo now, overall the fridge has nice features and we really like the Cool Room feature on the bottom door, Unfortunatly we have a service call out as the fridge stopped getting cold. Hangs at a temp in the mid 50's even though the temp on the panel shows 38. Trying the online repair ticket request system...seems to be a challenge as the first ticket has been closed. Usually the online submission process for a company is pretty stress free so maybe I just got unlucky. Lot's of room and the layout allows for good food allocation. Ice Maker is just average, it put's out enough ice for our needs, but the ice maker will jam from time to time. Ice seems to get caught prventing the ice maker from dumping ice into the tray. We have learned to work around this issue. At this time I would be neutral to recommend this model, but may provide an update if things change.
Pros: Bright display, storage options
Cons: Poor quality, ice maker issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the most amazing refrigerator available today. It is spacious and designed to overcome all the complaints about other designs, The shelving is so versatile that the size of what goes in is never a problem.... a little change to a shelf and things fit perfectly. The appliance is totally quiet except for an occasional dropping Ice Cube, that compartment could use a little more sound-proofing. The freezer compartments are another design breakthrough. Slide out shelves and drawers make for easy access to everything. Nothing gets buried or lost any more! The half of the freezer that can be changed to extra refrigerator space will be perfect for the Holiday meals and leftovers! Each time I open this refrigerator, I'm thrilled again at how great it is!
Pros: versitile, great lighting, design beauty, easy programming, space
Cons: noise of ice cubes dropping
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ice Maker is Terrible

While this expensive refrigerator is spacious and convenient with four doors, the ice maker unit is terrible. Not only is it small, ice forms ice external to the ice storage bin. Without regularly melting this ice; the ice maker stops working, and the storage bin becomes stuck or can not be put back into the ice making unit. This is after I went though the extensive online guide for problems with the ice making unit.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, expensive, ice maker

Best Refrigerator Ever

If it is possible to be in love with an appliance I want to marry this refrigerator. You can find everything in it. Everything is accessible. No more stuff in the back that you can never find or get at without digging through everything else. The freezer is amazing. Everything is organized and easy to get at. LOVE IT! Well worth the price.
