Nice picture, shame about the apps/support

I have just bought this. I wanted to put plex on it to use my own media. Searching the app store, it can't be found, browse the app store it's there, without a download link. Support were worse than useless. I read on the internet that this has a new operating system this could explain why there is a lack of apps. DONT TOUCH would be my advice unless all you want is to watch TV. It has a nice picture it as to be said. Mine is going back

Cons: Did not meet expectations, lack of apps and support

No access to BBC Iplayer

Yes, this TV gives an excellent picture BUT Smart TV features are limited for us without access to BBC Iplayer and with no information as to if /when it will become available.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no access to bbc iplayer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor Instructions

Owner manual only shows how to set up; however, no instructions on how to access and use the system. Samsung home site only repeats set-up procedures. I am not a "nurd" and need clear instructions. No instructions for the included remote; only the "smart remote."
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: difficult to add accessories.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nothing 'Smart' About theis TV!

Can't download Adobe Flash, so forget about streaming free content to your television. I would not buy this television if I knew that. Makes no sense!

The 40" does not have the same brightness as the 65". The settings are the same as the 65" but the 40" seems to have washed out colors. The backlight is at 20
Any suggestions?

After extensive research I bought this unit and my homework has paid off. Perfect picture, and the Smart features work as advertised. I've never been disappointed with Samsung products and I don't expect that to change.

The color is so pretty. The features are easy to use. There is a wide variety of app and games to use, its great!!!
