Difficult to keep top clean

This is a top of the line stove but the glass top is hard to keep clean. I have to use a professional cleaner on it every other day.

Could have been better

I have had this oven about one year and feel that this gives me better insight with it's performance. I love GE and gave my GE oven to my son and purchased this.
Cook Top - Hard to clean & keep clean - My older GE stove top was easier to clean
Timer & Oven settings - Silly how they work -- You have to input the time and/or temperature and make sure you hit Start. If you don't .... It doesn't set
I do like the front right burner sizes. The larger size really is great for my cooking. This is something that my older GE oven didn't have and if your pan was larger than the cooktop, it just didn't heat properly.
Bridge burners - The 2 on the left.... I purchased a great expensive pan or this to make many pancakes, sandwiches, etc at the same time, but I jut can't seem to find a setting where it is even on the whole pan.
Convection - This has the convection and I love it because I bake a lot, BUT when I turn the convection oven on..... something rattles for a while. I think it's the fan. It doesn't bother me anymore, but I can't figure out why this is happening. My other GE oven didn't make this sound... ever.
Power is higher and hotter and gets to temp fast. Be careful that you can burn food even if the burner is set on LOW.
Sometimes I want my old oven back, but I do like that the heat is stronger. I also like the steam clean feature. I use my stove all the time and I am still getting used to it.

We bought this to go with our new Microwave. Our old stove was still working but figured it wouldn't be to long before we would be looking for a new one. The warming drawer is a bonus that we really like. It is much easier to care for the cook top then our last stove top.

Great oven, nice features, stovetop disappoints

I bought this oven based on Consumer Reports rating. The oven is excellent, it bakes and roasts perfectly every time. I tend not to use the warming drawer but use it for pots and pan storage.The oven top is where I find most problems. It is difficult to control the level of heat even when I adjust in advance. Also cleaning the stove top is more of a chore than my last range, food is difficult to remove and it requires extra buffing to look clean. I am still happier with this range than other electric ranges currently available. The melting function is a great option and so is the warming burner.
