Having had previous night vision products, I found the cameras and clarity way better than other brands.
Customer service was as good as it gets and fast.
Software and data storage was better than previous brands.

Nice system, but.....

The system is nice but the programming setup is a pain. It will not recognize my wireless router, so I cannot monitor on my iPad or laptop. Also, one camera is defective and I am now waiting for authorization to return the camera for an exchange. Otherwise, I am happy with the system.

First and foremost, Suzanne in Customer Service was wonderful. She took the time needed to get my system set up properly. I was having issues with getting the email notification to work. It took a short amount of time, and it was all set. She stayed with me while we did the cell phone set up as well. I can't say enough good things about Defender Security Systems. The picture from the camera is actually better than I had hoped for. The system has settings that allow you to customize each camera the way you want it. I gave the system as a whole 5 stars, and 4 stars on the Ease of Use because of the process you need to go through to set up internet email. I couldn't do it, but with the help of Suzanne, we got it done. I am very happy with this system, and would recommend it to anybody that is in the market for a top quality, reasonably priced camera security system.

Great system

This system is very easy to install and to set up. The video was a good picture the night vision is very clear for what I need it for. The set up takes a little time but it is worth the time you put into it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Upgraded from a 4 ch system to this model to cover our new expanded warehouse. Great unit, can not complain. Easy to install, easy to use.

Great customer service

I have had this system for a month now and it works great. I did have one camera that was either broke in shipping or not inspected when packaged. It only had a small crack over the IR sensor. I emailed defender and they called me the same day and sent shipping label for the return. I did contact customer service for a second time because I couldn't get the video I backed up on USB to play on my computer. The representative was very nice and walked me through the steps to play the video and then emailed me instructions just in case I forgot. I am so happy with Defender that I told a friend and he also bought the same system I did.
I would recommend this to a friend!
