I purchased this system early November 2015. The video is crisp & clear, the night vision is great its visibility is clear. The only negative that I can give this product is that setting up email alerts are not user friendly. More detailed step by step instructions is needed in order to setup email alerts up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the second system I've bought this year. The first is located at a 5 unit rental property in FL the other is in MD. Both are working fine. Neither are set up for remote internet access at this time. Good quality for the price.

Just got mine very easy to set up. Great picture day and night can't get better for the money. Wish I would have got it a long time ago. Works great to see what's in your yard at night.

This is my third defender system. Best deal out there! I went from an 8 channel to a 16 channel and then bought my parents an 8 channel system!

Simply Awesome Security System!!

We bought this system and installed it yesterday. It was so easy to install the cameras and they work perfectly!! Very sharp pictures- even at night. The only problems were in configuring the network so we could monitor it via our computer or smart phone. I called today for support and in less than 5 minutes it is working perfectly!! We spent thousands of dollars a few years ago on a different system at our previous residence and the resolution was not nearly this good!

We are very impressed with our camera system. We purchases our system on December 14th but just had them professionally installed yesterday, only because my husband didn't want to mess going up in attic. We are very happy with the quality of the images and video. We do have some issues with the night vision only because we live on a corner lot where street lights and car lights may interfere with this feature. Regardless, we are totally happy and satisfied with our system. Customar support is outstanding! Very professional, helpful and friendly customer support which is very important to us! Our friend is very impressed and plans on buying this system.

Excellent system. Cameras are clear. However, setting up the system was not exactly easy. Connecting the cameras to the DVR and the DVR to my home router and setting up the software was much easier by comparison and took much less time than did the physical installation. I started and completed the project in a few hours and most of my time was spent installing the cameras and routing the cables
