I bought this a month ago and installed it in my office last week. We used to get no signal inside and had to walk outside for a spotty, but usually adequate signal. Now we get the same spotty but usually adequate signal inside. I don't know why I expected better, your literature clearly said that is all we'd get....
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for writing a review. We are sorry to see that you aren't completely satisfied with the Connect 4G-X. Unfortunately, as you mentioned, the booster will work optimally in areas where there is steady signal. If the outside antenna is given signal and the signal is lost from the tower, the booster will only be able to use what it has and repeat the same inside. We would like to work with you to see if there is anything we can do to help improve your signal. You can reach out to us here:
Great coverage and all bands are firing green. 1 hour later they are orange and flashing. Electrician checked out everything with instructions, but the same thing happened over and over again. Disappointed

Thank you for reaching out to us! The orange light indicates that overload is happening at the outdoor antenna. If you were receiving adequate gain, we wouldn't recommend any changes in installation. However, if the boosted signal went away, we'd want to address the situation. There are a few things we can try to help increase the signal inside inside. You can reach us directly here, for support:
I bought this as cellular data is very weak in our house. For as strong as this booster is supposed to be I am not seeing much additional strength in our phones unless standing within 5 to 10 ft from indoor antenna

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Our boosters work much like a megaphone, and your situation is likely similar to this analogy. The louder you yell into the mouthpiece, the farther that noise will travel. The same happens in reverse though. The quieter you speak in to the mouth piece, the closer you have to be to hear it. Typically if you have to be closer to the internal antenna, it's a consequence of very poor outside signal. We would like to work with you directly to help determine if this is the case, or if there are any tricks we can try to allow the booster to work better for you. Please reach out to us here:
We recently purchased the weBoost Connect for our remote canyon-side home that is far from landlines. We've had our ranch since 1999 and have tried all kinds of boosters and antennas but this is the first time we've had dependable phone, text, and data connections. Verizon customer service told us that since they had updated to 4G service in our area we were just out of luck for coverage. With our weBoost Connect we now can pull in 3 bars of LTE service. So much better than the 1 or 2 bars of 1X we ever got with ZBoost and large directional antennas.
I think we're in a complete dead zone that this does not help out as much as we thought it would.

Thank you for taking the time to review the Connect 4G-X. I am sorry that you are not seeing much performance from the booster. If you are in a very low/no signal area the broadcast from the internal antenna will be minimal in most cases. We would like to help optimize your system and make sure that the booster is doing the most in your situation. You can reach out to us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
I bought a Connect 4G-X direct from weBoost in December. System included defective (wrong) outdoor antenna. Outdoor antenna was terminated to a 75 ohm type F connector rather than the specified 50 ohm type N. I called weBoost support and their solution was to send an F to N adapter by slowest shipment possible. The system now finally functions but I have to wonder how much performance is being lost by the 75 to 50 ohm mismatch at the outdoor antenna. The range of three bar signal does not quite cover my 1500 sq ft home. At the price, I think the support is horrible and feel that I didn't really get what I paid for.

Thank you for taking time to review the Connect 4G-X. I am sorry that you had issues with the wrong antenna being sent and that the adapter took so long to get to you. Our boosters can use both 50 Ohm and 75 Ohm parts. You will not receive any degradation of signal due to the Ohm interchange at the antenna. I would like to help you go through your installation to help you optimize your booster and make sure we are getting the most out of it. Use this in our mobile office along with a MiFi device from Verizon. Bumps up signal from 1-2 bars to 3-4 consistently. Several times when we couldn't get any signal on the MIFI device we got it close to the booster and Presto! Enough signal to check and send email. Life saver!
