We now can have telephone conversations without interruption

Our new house is rural - and AT&T cell signal was so weak you had to walk around outside and find a hill or "magic" spot to try and have a phone call stay connected. We installed the 4G-X booster and it took the weak signal and made it strong enough so we could stay connected for phone calls. We are also able to use the cellular signal for our internet connection as well.

We have a large new home in the mountains of Colorado. We had no cell service upon moving in and no landline. The booster has allowed us to have full service.

Works in the boonies

The nearest cell tower is several miles away and behind a ridge. The signal on the ground varies but is always less than 1 bar (-105 dB). We're the first in our neighborhood to get reliable and good quality phone connections with the 4G-X and a Wide-Ant4-X-MIMO (directional, broadband antenna) installed 45 feet above ground, in a ponderosa pine. The 75' of coax supplied with the kit suffices. Lightning is common in our area. I used a lightning arrestor on the antenna and #2 copper wire to ground it, attached to an 8' copper stake, installed in the ground. The signal generated by the 4G-X unit varies in strength between 2 and 4 bars. Sometimes, when the signal is weakest, we place the phone right next to the 4G-X internal antenna to get a clear phone connection. The signal switches back and forth from 1x to 4G/LTE, yielding slow and unreliable data connections. But the phone connection is good. The boosted cell signal suffices for burglar-alarm monitoring.

Suffered with no signal for a long time.

Suffered with no signal for a long time.Finally broke down and bought a whole house system and was the best investment we have made in a long time. All our family and friends who have better signal was in this area, especially at our house. I no longer lose calls nor do I have to go outside to answer my phone. I installed it myself in a couple hours very easy. My son had one put in his car and told me to get it for the house. I did and it was an excellent investment.

This product works incredibly well in our home. Before installing we were barely able to make calls inside our home. We would have to walk outside to get any signal and even that was weak. Now, we have full signal inside our entire home. We are about 7 miles from the closest LTE tower which isn't to bad compared to others but in a valley. I mounted the outside antenna on our roof on an old Dirctv mount after taking the dish off. I wasn't sure the directional antenna would work there but it does great. I absolutely would recommend this product and in fact convinced a family member to purchase the same setup.

Works very well. I have it located just above the drywall ceiling 2nd floor (on the attic floor). It boosts signal from "2 bars" to 3-4 bars throughout most of the house. What I mostly wanted was faster internet through the LTE network and it more than doubled my speed. Very pleased.

Purchased this for our home where we only received extended, 1x, 3G and very spotty 1 bar LTE. We always experienced dropped calls, unable to use the phone's data. Our typical number was -117. Spinners aren't only for cars! That's all my phone did was endlessly search for a signal with minutes and longer to get to a website. Then I installed the 4G-X. Let me tell you, I went from horrible service, -117 on average and worse to 4-5 bar LTE! -90 and as low as -75 are the numbers now!! UNBELIEVABLE!! We live in a very remote area without internet. Very easy to install. This product is truly a life saver! Thank you for such a great product!
