Did exactly what we needed. Before: No signal in the basement; After: full signal throughout the house, including roaming from upstairs to downstairs. I thought that cell phone boosters were snake oil, but the 4G-X made me a believer.
I was skepticalI was skeptical - this is an expensive item to gamble on. But I rolled the dice and installed it in my truck. I use my iPhone and iPad in my work truck to do billing emails texts etc. and I'm often in Fringe and low signal areas. The booster works well and increases my signal dramatically. At first I had an issue with the external antenna being too close to the main unit. Technical support was of great help and I purchased an extender cable for the external antenna to move it further away so that all lights locked.
I live in the valley and couldn't find the tower so I purchased the all around antenna and it works great. I purchased the booster to improve signal but mostly for better data transfer rates. We have phones for AT&T and verizon and they both have full bar signal.
This booster has brought service inside our Mountain Lodge which is in a very remote area. Also works great in a large metal building where service is poor outside. Service is better now inside the metal building, than outside side. Great product and works very well.
Before Weboost Connect 4GX: "Hello? Can you hear me?! ... Can you hear me now?!?!" After Weboost Connect 4GX: (I have no excuses for not talking with my boss). Gee thanks, Weboost, for ruining my life!! :P
We frequent areas in remote upper Michigan where cell towers are many miles distant and reception with a handset cellphone is next to impossible. The 4G-X has boosted our in-vehicle reception from zero bars to 2 bars of LTE in the remotest areas we traverse. A data download test yielded 20Mbps in the middle of nowhere with just a roof mounted antenna. The 4G-X provides us with piece of mind while off roading far from the beaten path. I'll never be without a we weBoost system now.
