My kitchen door opening is just a bit shy of the 28 3/4 inch depth. Is it possible to remove the handles on the oven door and warming draw in order to get it to fit thru?

Everything I want in a range

This replaces a stove I had for 41 years! Still learning how to use it, but it's a dream to cook on! Everything I've tried so far came out just as I wanted. Warming tray is useful ..I chose it because a double oven was too hard for me put anything big down there and then lift it out. The oven is large enough to put several dishes in at once. I can't wait to make pancakes!

Great Pizza Oven

This is one of the best Gas Range I have ever owned. Seriously. I really like the Tri-burner it helps when you're trying to boiling water fast.
The oven is fantastic. It really does the Job. I make my own pizzas which I've perfected through the years. I used the oven recently for the first time and I cannot believe the results. The pizza came out with a nice brown crust.
I use a 3/4" inch rectangular stone which must be heated to 550°F for an hour before use. At that setting the range startes alternating between the bottom burners and the top burners giving you a nice even heat distribution (see photo). There are actually two long burners on top used to broil giving it plenty of heat.

One improvement I would recommend for GE is the timer. It should emit a much louder sound when it goes off. If you are on the second floor of the house the sound will not make it when the timer goes off. I have it hooked up to my iPhone and it does warn me when the which is kind of cool. A big plus.

GE Profile Gas Range

I have only had this for 10 days but I can tell you it is an awesome gas range! It has so many features like the 3 oven racks, warming drawer, center double burner that I can hardly wait to try them all out. This oven will get a thorough work out on Thanksgiving Day as I am hosting the meal. I can't wait to try each feature! Not to mention that it is a great looking appliance. It is actually impressive. So many other gas ranges looked clunky and industrial. This one looks sleek.
