Love the stove top

I love how fast the stove top brings water to boil for pasta but yet can go low enough to melt chocolate and bases for custards. No complaints on the oven. Haven’t had a chance to really bake more than cookies but am excited to try other things.

Great range, but flawed temp control

I like this range: the 18K btu/hr burner heats water faster than any range I've owned, and the simmer setting can be cooler than most -- very nice.
There is a problem with the oven, however -- the temperature is off! My first meal took forever to cook, leading me to take actual temp measurements. I used 2 different, high quality thermo probes to compare the displayed temp to the actual temp. Here are the results:

So, at 350, it is 35F off, while it is spot on at higher temps. I taped this table and a graph of the data to a cupboard next to the range for accurate temps.
Measurements were taken as follows: The first two heating cycles were discarded, then the next 4 cycles were averaged. All measurements were repeated and found to agree with the first set.

Good combination of looks and function

Decided on this model over the slide-in with its harder to clean stainless steel top. Time will tell if it is as reliable as the 22 year old GE Profile replaced as part of the kitchen remodel.

Replaced our previous GE Profile range (11yrs old) and although there are things I miss about the old stove, I love this one!

We had an electric range that we didn't care for and wanted to go back to gas. We have had many issues since the day it was delivered. Purchased this much more expensive and fancier range than initially planed, as I fell in love with many of its features. On delivery we found the left burners only would lite with a match, the double center griddle burner made popping noises and tried to go out, a burner cap was missing, rolling shelf wouldn't go back in easily when pulled out and the oven seemed to take a long time to ignite followed by a loud roaring sound for several minutes and always a smell of gas. To date the gas line connection to the stove has been replaced along with the center burner, igniter, regulator, and rack. We are awaiting our 9th scheduled service call to have the oven burner replaced, the propane conversion kit replaced, the center burner replaced again, a new cap for one burner, all orifices replaced and the left power burner replaced. . It has been four months since purchase and am wishing I had kept my old stove. Really hoping all issues are resolved with this next visit. I will never feel like I have a new stove.

The main upper panel is defective (bubbling), a back panel was bent near the top,
missing 2 rubber stoppers. Most importantly, the oven flames glows orange rather than blue and has an odor to it. Would I do it again, no. Signed, the least fussy person you know

Outstanding Range, powerful burners, fast to heat

I had an excellent older GE range that was nearing the end of its life. I looked into all the ranges and found this to have the best stove top burners on the market. It also has an outstanding oven.
