Very good range. But the buttons are hard to work and resetting the oven temperature is awkward.

Great for wok cooking

We were looking for a stove that would be good for wok cooking -- specifically having a high-BTU burner on the front left which is next to our counter. This stove is the best. 20,000 BTU tri-ring burner on the front left. Can get it so low that we can also simmer on that burner. The stove does not come with a wok ring. However, our previous stove was a GE Profile and the wok rings we bought from GE for that stove fit this stove perfectly. We wish the bottom drawer was a warming drawer like our previous stove, but overall we are loving our new stove.

Great features, fine control of temp with burners

We wanted a range with a high BTW burner and a very low simmer burner. On top of that we got a HEAVY cast iron / reversible griddle with a much better heat control burner. Add that the bottom drawer is NOT flimsy, like the cheaper models stocked in all the stores, this was a much better deal!

Always reliable, chef kitchen worthy! Made the decision to take what the builder suggested vs. going out and buying one on my own... didn't see why, this is exactly what I was looking for and a great price.

Happy with our new gas range

The burners are much more powerful than our old GE XL44, and we are still learning to cook with it - although we cook a lot, we rarely have a pot big enough to use the burner on full high. We haven't yet determined the correct low/simmer setting for rice. I didn't think that I would like the center griddle, but we use it often for French toast, etc.. I like how the bluetooth sync with the microwave works - the fan and light turn on when you turn on the burner. Haven't tried the steam clean function yet, but glad to have an option to toxic chemicals (which we never use) or a dirty oven. Negatives: NO PRINTED OWNER MANUAL - I had to download one online, and am constantly referring to it as I try new features. Also, you have to remove the center griddle to remove either side burner rack to clean under it. Awkward when you just have one little spill to clean up while you are still cooking other items.

First Time Cooking With Gas

Having just started using our new GE Profile gas range, we have found its performance to be better than the electric stoves we've always used. We like the reversible griddle, the ease of cleaning the stove top surface, the ease of moving our pots and pans across the Edge-to-Edge grates to different burners, and the Tri-ring burner is great for small, medium and large pots and pans. The oven cooks foods evenly and we are impressed with the speed at which they are done due to the convection feature. That also applies to the speed with which water boils and the shorter time for foods to cook; we have had to really keep an eye on the time it takes for food to finish cooking (sooooo much faster than electric eyes). Looking forward to many years service our new GE Profile range.
