Great burner options

We love this product. The stove and over have excellent features (internal thermometer, tons of burner options). The only problem is that it is very tough to keep clean and looking new.

I cooked my first turkey in this stove on Thanksgiving. (We prefer to cook a very large turkey, more leftovers) It came out properly cooked and a bit early. Using the burners has also been convenient and the various sizes means I can readily adjust how fast the pot heats: faster for the water for spaghetti, slower to heat the sauce without scorching.

Versatile burners and nice sized oven

The burners on this model are so versatile! Two power boil units up front with the tri ring on the left side make for quick heating. I love the continuous grates. I look forward to using large canning pots and soup pots on them. I wasn't sure about the flange under the back panel which redirects the vented oven heat, but it does not interfere with cooking pots and protects the back panel from being in contact with hot pots.
The oven baked an apple/ biscuit type dessert last night and it turned out just as beautiful in this gas oven as in my old GE electric range. I chose to switch to gas because of pressure canning and making soup in heavy pots. The new electric coil models don't look as sturdy as they were in the past.

This was an upgrade we choose when purchasing our home. After cooking on an electric range for years, it is so nice to cook with gas, it cooks evenly and quickly and cleans up easily. I have not used the cast iron grate yet, however, it is heavy and well made and I expect it to cook evenly and well when I do use it. I gave it a 4 star rating because the bottom drawer doesn't work and I'm going to need someone to come in and fix it or replace it.
