Best Range EVER!

I love this range! I moved here 3 yrs ago and had GE Electric appliances. I wanted a gas range and searched. GE is the quality I am used to from my prior homes and the only brand that had the features I wanted. I could not be any happier! Thank you GE.

The range has performed well for the 2 months we have owned it. The cast stove top grates are large, heavy, well designed.
The oven probe made roasting turkey a breeze. Easy to keep clean. Looks nice in our kitchen

Love the cast iron grates! It’s also nice that our GE oven and microwave can connect via Bluetooth. The light comes on when we turn on our stove. I’m looking forward to learning more about the convection bake feature, and can’t wait to see how the steam clean function works. We did scuff the paint when putting on the grates. It’s also been a little challenging to clean the stovetop after cooking. Love the burners though!

Mostly good; some features not so much

We have always used propane gas stoves and have had this stove for over a year. My wife likes it. The features are helpful, and the oven holds its temperature well. We did have two issues. The simmer feature on the triple burner would constantly flame out. After several service calls, it is better now. The technician thought the aperture was too small for propane gas. The other issue was the temperature probe. We used it twice. Both times the control board shut off the oven because the probe indicated it had reached the desired temperature when in fact the meat temperature was 30-40 degrees cooler than indicated. On the second use, the plastic coating for the probe wire cracked and began to flake off. Consider buying a wireless probe if need one.

The instruction book’s inadequacies and the oven racks are really the only issues with this otherwise great range. It took two phone calls with the seller before we were able to figure out how to use the new “dual” burners/dials. And, the new non-stick racks are still like ice skating rinks, as all pans slide all over the place on their own volition. As I turned aside to reach for a toothpick to check the doneness of the first thing I baked, a birthday cake from scratch, the cake just skittered forward and flipped out upside down on the oven door. Yes, the stove is perfectly level, still—and no, the cake was not quite done. The racks are soooo slippery with this new coating, the first couple times you bake, the pans dance as if on ice!!

So far I love this new range! I am in love with the burner for boiling water! ( I make pasta at least once per week)! I made my first roast & used the convection roast option. My husband says it was the best roast I ever made! I plan on getting the matching hood soon. I have also used the grill that is included. What a great option!

I really love this gas range ,the oven temp was right on when I checked it with my thermometer and the variation of burner sizes are perfect. I do 90% of the cooking and now I'm enjoying the job of doing it so much more with a range that is the best..
