Great Features & extra burners on top for warmer!!

Just got it installed & can't believe how fast the Convection Oven heats up!!! PLus the extra burners on top for metling & warming. Also love the lowest shelf that is a glider!

Excellent! Fun to cook on!

I wanted to convert to a gas stove after using one at a vacation house until we found out it would be close to $5,000.
We looked at many brands over months while our other electric oven limped along. My husband thought we needed a professional oven because of the frequency of using our oven, and blistering peppers creates much steam which we think is what did our old 14 year oven in.
This GE electric stove top /oven is awesome! It gets hot so fast it's like using a gas stove to me. Also, it's designed to use steam to clean the oven without using chemicals! That's of utmost importance to us! Although we didn't use chemicals before, this oven is designed for easy cleanup because the bottom elements are covered. Great design, beautiful appearance, gets hot quickly, easy to set timer and temperature! It would be nice to read clock easier, if it was bigger. Fun to cook again! Also talked to a busy contractor's appliance repair company on a recommendation for quality he said, " GE the way to go, quality, the last , and if you do need a part they carry them. "

We bought this to replace the GE electric range that came with the house we bought 18 yrs. ago. I love having a double oven, it works great!

Just delivered today, so I can’t comment on performance. As far as appearance...beautiful!!! Looks stunning and everything apparently works right out of the box. Delivery was right on time, and the two men had it delivered, set in place and ops checked in no time. Very happy with my purchase. I will update this review down the road.

Ok, but not as nice as previous Profile range

Upgraded to stainless steel from a White GE Profile range that was 9 years old. The new range top is very hard to clean compared to the white. The tri burner knob not as functional, as it is very hard to see the settings. I preferred a separate size selector so the temperature knob was larger and you could see what setting you needed more easily. Also lost the bridge burner on the left side of the cooktop...so loss in functionality. The also short you on an oven grate. There is one for the top oven, and only two for bottom convection oven, instead of three for the bottom like my old stove. The old oven touch controls were covered in glsss while the new one is not, seems likely to be a problem I. Durability down the line.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
