Buyer beware!

After purchasing, the top started to deteriorate and delaminate from underneath. After replacing the top twice, the third has started to do the same. Since this was determined to be a cosmetic issue, it’s no longer covered.
After 4 months, it cooks great…. Looks terrible!

What a nighmare

This range was installed in our retal last month and it is a nightmare. The clock stopped working a few days after installation, but the nightmare part is the cook-top. EVERYTHING burns on. Even water that boils over or splashes out will leave a mark that you may or may not ever be able to scour off. I clean the top 3 to 5 times a day before and after every use. I warn you not to buy this nightmare. The cook-top stays hot for ages so by the time it's cool enough to clean any little drip or splash everything has baked on and the hardened. Also expect to have to buy all new pots and pans that are compatible with this kind off cook-top. The "cleaning" solution is a joke. Using a razor blade to chisel things off is the best I have found. Oh yeah & say goodbye to you cast iron pans :( I can no warn you enough to steer clear of this nightmare!

Purchased this back in December and it arrived the beginning of January. I really enjoy cooking with this and having the double oven option is great if I want to cook 2 different recipes at different temperatures. I also really like the stove top that goes completely to the edge. It makes cleaning easier and I don't need to spend extra time trying to get the cleaner out of the grooves that were on my old stove. I also like the 2 burners that connect feature. This is great when I want to use a griddle, however I have been finding that the temperature between the 2 burners and the connecting are is inconsistant. So far every time I have used it I have found things cook unevenly.

I bought my Range seven ago. Hardly ever used the oven now my panel won't come on? For the ovens. Need to know if the there is restart bottom?

Makes kitchen look complete

Purchased this stove about two months ago to replace a similar GE Profile that was 11 years old and didn't match my other appliances. This double oven looks beautiful in the kitchen and performs nicely. I am enjoying using the small oven for most everyday roasting, and the lower oven for large roasts and baking. I also like the triple burner with one choice for a 12" pot.
A few disappointments
Very difficult to keep top clean. Shows every mark. Already has a small scratch. The bridge burner does not work as well as the one on my old stove. Disappointed there is not a built in meat thermometer as there was one in the older model.

Bottom line is it's fine, but wish I had looked more closely at other brands.

The stove top heats up and cools down quickly which is great, but the lower oven does not work that well. It takes quite a while to heat up and I don't believe the temperature is accurate. It does not cook evenly; especially if more than one item is placed in the oven. We use the smaller, top oven the most since it does a better job...

New GE Profile Electric range

I just had the range installed 2 days ago. In order to give a quality review, I must use it for at least 4 months. Every aspect of the stove must be used, burners, ovens, convection, broiler and cleaning. So far so good after 2 days. See you in 4 months.
