For the cost a little disappointing

I have not had this long maybe a month. I have only used the burners a couple of times and it already looks like I have had it for years. It has spots on and around the burners and I have not spilt anything on them and I have not had anything boil over onto the stove. I have tried to buff them out with the stove cleaner that came with the range. For the price of the range, it should not get spots or discolouring as it does.

Have been using this stove for several month and have been extremely pleased with its performance. The ovens bake beautifully and the cooktop works quickly and evenly. I am very happy with is purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

MISSING A LOT OF FEATURES

It has two ovens, where is the 2nd timer? Why doesn't each oven have a light? Why isn't there a bread proofing cycle? I baked cookies with two sheets and the true convection did work. I have only used the top oven once, too small. Don't like having to stand on my head to look in the bottom oven. The largest burner is very fast, like that feature

Cooktop Surface Staining
on March 24, 2020
Posted by: Jim7272

The surface of the range is black. It shows wear and staining way too easily after only 3 weeks. We should not have to polish the surface after every use. Can never get it clean. We had a non-GE ceramic surface for 18 years and never had this issue. My suggestion is that the surface needs to be speckled or have a busy background to help hide normal wear. This is NOT about pot / pan scrapes. This is just simple cooking splatters that just won’t come out. 3 weeks only - way too short.

Hello Jim7272 - Thanks for choosing GE Appliances and sharing your feedback. Cleaning with a ceramic cooktop cleaning cream after each use of the radiant glass cooktop will keep the cooktop looking new and keep it easy to clean. Here is a link with helpful cleaning tips on cleaning range glass cooktops: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16244. We hope this helps!

Love this stove/oven and Microwave
on May 19, 2020

I love the stove, the only reason I gave it a 4 is that the 2 front burners should both be a triple ring. Otherwise I would give the stove a 5. The double ovens are awesome! I can cook two separate things at different temperatures in the ovens. The smaller top one also saves energy by not heating a large oven for small meals. The microwave has more functions than I have figured out yet. I used the steam function for green beans for the first time last night. It works great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The glass top is very difficult to keep clean and gets very hot when lower ovens are used. Almost like there is no insulation between oven and glass top

Hello - Thanks for your review. We can certainly understand your concerns about the cooktop. Here is the link to the glass top cleaning tips: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16244 On ranges with a smooth top cooking surface, the oven vents are at the back of the cooktop. Make sure the vents are not covered. Freestanding ranges - The vent is located under the control panel on the backsplash. Make sure no pots, tea kettles, etc. are blocking the vent.
