Small Apartment Cleaning

I followed the instructions on the bottle in order to fill my machine. Unfortunately, even though everything was were it needed to be for the easy-fill components, it still would not dispense the liquid. I had to press the mechanism myself to release the liquid. It was a pain, but not the worst thing in the world. It seems to have cleaned my carpet very well! It changed to a lighter shade which was expected and made it feel so much cleaner! The scent/fragrance of the product is overwhelming for a small apartment. The scent, as it dried, caused me to feel nauseated both times I used it - once right after I washed and the other after it had dried. I don't know what they put in there to make it smell like that, but I would definitely recommend to add another solution to mitigate the smell or for the company to change the scent. I have to spray odor eliminators on the carpet just to be in my bedroom fro longer than 10 minutes. Overall, it gets the job done, but at what cost?

I am continuing to use this formula on old stains and it is working wonderfully. My Bissell spot cleaner and this formula make spot removing fun and I hate housework!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Actually bought this before using the sample product received with my carpet cleaner. To be honest this stuff does not smell good to me, especially after shampooing and drying. Odor was from the product not mildew odor from prolonged drying which I did not have. I used this on half of house and a different Bissell sample of shampoo for the other half. Odor did go away in a few days. Probably will donate this product to a animal shelter or discard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

However, with the 2 samples included with my purchase of the Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner, this product did a fantastic job! The stains that were on the carpet for at least 5 years have disappeared. During this pandemic, being able to clean my own carpet(s) lessens the stress of a person coming into my home to do the service.
