Good product, incorrect specs online.

Your specs show that this model has "Preouts" for 5.1 channels. This is NOT TRUE. That is unless your back panel image is wrong. This also does not make sense since the 2000 also doesn't have those preouts. The only model that has those is the 3000. Please fix this since it distorts the perception when shopping for a receiver. I do like this product, I just wanted to point out the flaw on the website. I have not noticed any flaws on the actual equipment. I especially like that the unit turns on automatically when I turn on my Sonos system. This is a GREAT feature and the reason I made the decision to purchase a Sony.
I just finished installing and achieved 7,1 2 configuration. I played a newly purchased SACD Hotel California and was overwhelmed with the 7.1.2 sound that surrounded me from everywhere. One reason I purchased a SONY is to make sure it would accept SACD, The other reasons were 4k, Atmos. and quality. This is my third Sony ES unit.
I purchased this A/V Receiver based on research and reviews from several professional websites as well as customer reviews. I was looking for a beefy receiver that emphasized solid build & sound quality as I primarily use it to listen to my multichannel SACD collection. I have an Oppo UDP UHD 203 SACD/Blu ray player, and my front speakers are ELAC Uni-fi UB5’s, which are rated at 4 Ohms and can be hard to drive. This receiver has more than enough power to drive these splendidly. I love the on-screen menu, which makes set-up a breeze.
I would recommend this to a friend!
