Good cooker, terrible timer

While the cooker works well for what I need (hard boiled eggs) the timer is woeful. Worked for about the first 3 or 4 uses, now I just expect it to go off after 5 minutes or so, forcing me to turn the unit off and back on with a new cook time set. The whole point of getting an egg cooker was to "set it and forget it" but now I'm back to having to supervise and time the eggs myself.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A great egg cooker!

After one month, I am thrilled with this product because it successfully cooks both my wife and my eggs the way we both like them every time in one easy operation. Additionally, the product is easy to clean and put away.

I love cooking soft, and medium boiled eggs in this cooker. I will never again boil eggs in a pot. This is the best way! I am going to buy the bigger one for when I need to make more than 6 eggs.

This is a must have kitchen small appliance for egg lovers. Perfectly cooked eggs every time no matter how you like them. Simple to use. Simple to clean. Great product. So much better than competitors as you actually control how long your eggs cook.

Not as good as the Breville Egg Cooker which is no longer available. Adequate. Tends toward overcooking so set the time to less than the controls indicate.

I have had this egg cooker for a few years now and no problems at all , makes boiled eggs as easy as making toast , water tray eggs lid time turn on , beeps when they are done , simple and easy .
