I can put 9 x 13 pans in without having to lean them over. I can put tall items in the dishwasher. It is great. Wish I had one years ago!

Doesn't WASH the dishes.

On the advice of an independent dealer, I purchased this model a little less than two months ago as a replacement for a 12-year-old dishwasher which I used to actually wash dishes that I had scraped and given a light rinse. When I first used the Whirlpool WDF310PAA, I used it the same way. After the one-hour cycle the dishes smelled and had visible food particles. Handwashing began! The second use, I scraped and lightly rinsed the dishes and put them on the two-hour "normal" cycle. The dishes didn't smell anymore, but food particles remained.. Now, I power spray rinse the dishes and make sure they're clean before I load them into the dishwasher to be rinsed and sanitized later. Needless to say, NO water is being saved. My dealer claimed he has the same model at home and it works fine. Come to find out, he has an older version which has THREE sprayers. One from the top of the washer, a second under the top rack, and a third under the bottom rack. Mine has TWO sprayer arms, one under each rack and aimed up only. No direct spray is aimed down, to the sides, or into the corners.Since I keep the setting on heated wash, I am confident that my dishes as well as any food I've left on them are sanitary. But, if you're looking for a dishwasher to WASH the dishes, keep looking.
