The first time my husband put his stained tea pitcher in the dishwasher and it came out completely clean, we were impressed with this dishwasher. Very quiet too!

Replacement dishwasher

The first thing I noticed was that it was much quieter than our previous model.The only flaw I can find so far is that I am having trouble arranging the dishes in the different rack system. Hopefully I will eventally figure this out.

Whirlpool quality

I purchased this dishwasher to replace an older model and wanted something functional without excessive features. This model meets my needs on both price and performance. However, I have one complaint the detergent compartment is tiny and a easily overfilled then the door does not want to latch so your dishwasher powder goes everywhere. This can be avoided if you use the higher priced liquids or the prepackage detergent packets. Anyway that cost them 1 star.

We got this at no extra charge with our new house. It doesa great job cleaning, but can be difficult to understand for those less tech savvy like my mom.

I was almost relieved when my previous dish washer went belly up so I could match my Whirlpool side by side with a dish washer knowing I would be happy with it's performance.
