This dishwasher performs great- no need to pre-rinse dishes, everything comes out nice and clean. The only exception is baked on residue on cookie sheets or sometimes burned on residue in a frying pan... both of which I am not sure one can reasonably expect a dishwasher to get completely clean anyway. The four-hour delay button is fantastic! Even pauses the countdown to let you add more dishes when you open the door. Just push the now-blinking button to start the countdown again when finished. My only issue is the noise level, which I would classify as loud enough to be annoying; especially if you have a living space open to the kitchen, and are trying to watch television, for example. But simply use the four-hour delay button in the evening after dinner, and the dishwasher runs at night when everyone is upstairs in bed, problem solved! Just be warned about the noise if you prefer daytime washing or have a very open floor plan around the kitchen.

We bought this because we are of the opinion that all dishwashers will eventually breakdown - so why spend $500-$1000 on a dishwasher that you will replace in less than 10 years. So far, this gets our dishes clean. We use the rinse aid liquid as well. The parts inside don't appear terribly sturdy. Overall, it's a good washer.
