After owning a few Whirlpool dishwashers throughout the years, I knew I had to replace my existing one with the latest model. It is functional, has everything I need in a dishwasher, and works great! It is so quite that I sometimes stand by it to make sure it's functioning!!

This dishwasher was included in my new vacation home construction from Mattamy Homes.It looks beautiful in my kitchen; I love looking at it! The racks/slots are designed so well you can fit anything/anywhere; that is soooo important!!! It cleans very well. I don't know about the noise; all dishwashers make noise; besides I only run the dishwasher at night (my bedroom is away from the kitchen) or when I leave the house (my dog, who also vacations there, hasn't complained about the noise when I leave him to go out). But when I do hear it, I like the way it sounds; very tranquil background noise.My dishwasher in my permanent home is about to kick the bucket soon and when it does I will get this one as its replacement!

Easy to install, but.....

it still leaves dishes wet sometimes. As we have hard water here and the lack of a suitable soap (EPA phosphate limits), it pays to rinse the dishes immediately after eating or they don't come clean, especially coffee cups and glasses.Using the recommended soap tablets does help, but it doesn't perform like years ago; then you could scrape your plate and put in the DW and do your dishes two or three days later and get a clean load. With this one I tend to basically hand wash w/ hot water before I load the dishes.It is quiet though.It does clean better than our old one and the filter cleaning is a snap! With the old one I had to disassemble down to the base of the inside and soak and wash everything to clean the filters. With hard water the calcium deposits were scary. It usually took 3 - 4 hours.I also did a lot of online searching and review reading before I bought and what sold me was the reliability of Whirlpool.

Good basic dishwasher

This is a really good basic dishwasher, no over the top bells and whistles, it just gets the job done and the dishes come out clean.
