I chose this dishwasher for its simplicity, all I want is a dishwasher that cleans my eating utensils, I do not need all sorts of fancy settings. This model was what I thought would meet my needs.My husband installed it quickly without any problems and we used the hoses from the old dishwasher since this one doesn't come with new hoses.When we turned the dishwasher on for the 1st time, it was quieter than our old one, but, certainly not "quiet". Yet, the strange thing is that it seems to 'start' and 'stop' repeatedly. We aren't sure if this is due to its energy-saving feature or if something is wrong with it. This is why I came here looking to see if anyone else had noticed this same behavior.Insofar as how well it cleans, I haven't noticed any difference between the longer wash cycle and the 1-hour cycle... but, then again, our dogs lick our plates before I put them in the dishwasher, so, there aren't any food particles left on the plates anyway.

Love new dishwasher!

We had been using Brand X for several years and didn't realize what a poor job it did until I installed yours. I bought it due to my great success with a Whirlpool washer and the fact that it was American made. I figured all dishwashers were pretty much the same but sparkling is the best adjective I can use for yours.It was very easy to install and worked great from the get go. I bought it from a local dealer to double my karma and it has worked out great. My next appliance purchase will definitely be a Whirlpool.

This Whirlpool dishwaher is the best we ever own. Great design, we love the shape of the handle and the door stainless steel finished inside and out. Energy saver, extra capacity and MADE IN AMERICA!

Easy to use simple dishwasher. Does a good job of cleaning dirty dishes but makes a little noise when opening and closing the dish washer door.

Very basic dishwasher. No fancy bells and whistles, but it gets the job done. Enough compartments for silverware and good size space. It's quiet enough, but of course there are others out there that are quieter. Not as many washing cycles as I would like, but I guess I'll have to upgrade eventually.

I am very pleased with this dishwasher. It isn't fancy, but it does a good job with my dishes and is much quieter than the Whirlpool it replaced. It was at a nice price point and was fairly easy to install.

i chose this whirlpool because after going through two of the more expensive and complicated european brands and seeing both breakdown, i decided to buy a domestic dishwasher with a simple and easy to use system. So far my Whirlpool has functioned flawlessly and i am hopeful it will continue ti do so. I have experienced only one minor problem and thats when i used the one hour setting it did not clean the cups as thoroughly as i would have liked. otherwise its been very solid.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Product works well, especially when set to 1-hour cycle. Instructions could be improved but we figured it out! Installation went smoothly as did delivery. Competitive and reasonable price. Will certainly recommend this product to others.
