Broke down in under three years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher came with our appliance package when we had our suburban home built in 2013. We moved in in November of that year, & in May of 2016 the appliance has gone kaput. Before it broke down, it did a moderate job of cleaning the dishes, bring somewhat noisy in the process. The delay feature came in handy for this reason; we could load it up after dinner & delay the start for four hours so that we didn't have to listen to the noise while we relaxed in the nearby family room. I'm tired of buying appliances that wear out in under five years when they used to last decades. (Incidentally, the Whirlpool gas range that we got at the same time has issues, too - the door no longer seals properly & it falls open unless you support it all the way down when opening. This leads me to believe that Whirlpool has quality control issues across the board.)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A good basic diswasher

This unit was purchased to be the first dishwasher ever installed in this residence/ so far it has performed as it should/Very quiet if installed properly.

Very happy with this dishwasher, I've owned it for about 6-7 months now and find it cleans the dishes very well and is quiet.

Whisper quiet!

I bought this for my father when his died. It was a great price and we have always been a Whirlpool family. I was so happy that it works so well, even with well water, and is quiet and very energy efficient! Love the dishwasher!

We received this dishwasher in the package that came with our new condo. It did a more than adequate job in cleaning our dishes. But since we rent our condo & there will be 8-10 people staying in it, this was not the right dishwasher. It would not hold all of the dishes from a large meal with one wash. We requested and received an upgrade to the top of the line dishwasher made by Whirlpool. We are extremely happy with the larger and much much quieter model our developer provided.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
