sanitizes but doesn't wash

I agree with some of the other reviews. This sanitizes the dishes, but doesn't wash them. I have to clean all food off of the dishes before putting them in or they come out still dirty. I guess you get what you pay for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This unit came with the house we bought, and it does everything it says it will, which we are very grateful for. But we can't say a whole lot more.I like that it has a separate water jet for the bottom and for the top drawers, so I know everything on the top is getting hit even if the bottom is completely full. And it adds a bit more space to the bottom without that hole in the center.Everything else is adequate, but not exciting. The unit isn't desperately pretty to look at. The silverware and cup racks don't have any covers or organizers to speak of. Kinda boring.My one complaint is when you run it it doesn't give a lot of feedback. The beeps are super quiet and it takes a while to hear if it's running or not. I have pressed the button, assumed it was running, and found out later it never started. Oops.But it WASHES DISHES quite well. And it's boring partly because it's quiet and just slips into the background--like a good appliance should. What more can you really ask for?

I like this dishwasher ... it is quiet, energy efficient, and I like how deep the top rack is. I can put some pretty big items in it without a problem.

This is your average dishwashwer. It is energy efficient, however with that it does take extra long for a normal cycle to run - about 2 hours.I did have to have the soap dispenser/jet dry replaced right away because the jet dry was leaking. Other than that it has been a dependable dishwasher.

The Whirlpool dishwasher we purchased is better than we expected ! So simple to use and very quiet. After a quick read through of the manual and just one test run, our beautiful dishwasher performed perfectly.
